2001 Buckskin Zweibruecker Stallion (Mascarpone / Memelruf)
Yeager GF was a rare, imported dark buckskin German Warmblood stallion (ZfDP), sired by the well known cremello WB stallion, Mascarpone GF (ZW/RPSI). His dam, Amadine II, was a Trakehner mare of the famous and hard to find Arbeitgeberin line. He stood here at Blacktree Farm and passed away in 2018. Yeager produced sport horse foals with great movement and temperament; he consistantly passed on athleticism and presence as well as his stunning color. We currently have a limited supply of frozen semen to produce a few more BTF bred foals, but Yeager breedings will no longer be offered publicly.

Yeager was athletic and playful, and loved to jump. True to his breeding, he produced foals that did well in both dressage and jumping. He was an impressive, versatile stallion of modern type that complimented many mares. His canter was especially lovely, naturally round, balanced and free through the shoulder. He had a well engaged, elastic step at trot and a huge bascule and spring over fences. He was a real character that loved to play. He consistantly passed on lovely movement and sensible temperaments.

Yeager was 16.3hh, but he tended to add height to most mares (even mares that are 17hh +). We believe that he would have been taller himself if he had not been a bottle-fed orphan.

Yeager came from top quality German Hessen, Hanoverian and Trakehner bloodlines. This includes many well known jumping and dressage sires, such as: MARDUC, PHILIPPO, FERDINAND, DOMSPATZ, DONAUWIND, GRANDE & IMPULS. LEARN MORE >
As a buckskin, Yeager had a 50% chance of passing on color (Buckskin, Palomino or Smokey Black) to his offspring. With grey mares, foals also had a 50% chance of color, but the mare would pass on an additional 50% chance that any base color would grey out. LEARN MORE >
Yeager is no longer available for outside breedings. Some frozen semen remains, which will be used for BTF mares.
